Science Café: The Florida Museum Turns 100

Time: 6:30 pm til 7:45 pm

Description: Come to the Florida Museum of Natural History's Science Cafés for engaging conversation about a variety of science topics. A comfortable atmosphere provides the setting for lively discussions.

Topic: Celebrating Life on Earth: The Florida Museum Turns 100, with Douglas S. Jones, Ph.D., Director, Florida Museum

Program Description: Join Florida Museum Director Doug Jones for a look at the Museum’s signature achievements over the past 100 years, as well as a glimpse at the future. Appreciate and celebrate the Museum’s role within the community, state, nation and world!

Location: Blue Gill Quality Foods, 1310 SW 13th St., with a limited menu offered to participants.

As space is limited for these FREE programs, please RSVP via Eventbrite (registration opens Jan. 2). The program begins at 6:30 p.m.

Participants purchase their own food and beverage from a special Science Café menu. Seating and food/beverage ordering begin at 6 p.m. Please note that seating is on a first-come basis (except when wheelchair access is requested in advance).
