Description: Saturday and Sunday November 12-13 (9 am to 4 pm). Experience the pioneer days of North Central Florida at the Silver River Museum with historic exhibits and re-enactors, sugar cane syrup making, Civil War soldiers, Seminole Indians, blacksmiths, cracker cow hunters, spinners, weavers and more! Enjoy live bluegrass and folk music, craft vendors, tram rides to the Silver River, puppet shows and great food. Admission is $5 per person with children five and younger free. Free state park admission and parking fees during the event.

Description: Calling all Girl Scouts! Join the Florida Museum of Natural History and celebrate the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council’s “She’s a Scientist” annual program. Experience hands-on activities and experiments while meeting local scientists. The program fee is $5 per Scout, which includes a patch created specifically for this event.
This program is for Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts. One adult chaperone per 10 Scouts may participate for free, and additional chaperones are $5.
