PARADISE PARK: THE STORY OF AN AFRICANAMERICAN PARK AT SILVER SPRINGS

Time: 4:00 pm til 7:00 pm

Location: Silver River Museum: Ocala, Fl

Description: Join us February 18th for a Museum Open House and Black History Month Program.
Paradise Park was part of Silver Springs and served as an attraction for the African American
community during Segregation. Local photographer, historian and author
Cynthia Graham will be our guest speaker. Ms. Graham has co-authored a book on
Paradise Park and will discuss the history of the park and the book as well.
The museum Open House runs from 4-6 pm. The evening program is from 6-7 pm.
There is no admission charge; however presentation seating is limited and available on a
first come basis. Be sure to arrive before the presentation to see the museum and meet
