Eco-Archaeo Kayak Tour

Time: 8:30 am til 12:00 pm

Location: Crystal River Preserve State Park

Description: WHEN: Tuesday • April 21 • 2015 • Meet @ 8:30 a.m. in the water by 9 a.m.
Come paddle around St. Martins Marsh Aquatic Preserve with FPAN archaeologists and biologists from
Florida Coastal Oce. During our trip on the Crystal River, we’ll have a conversation about prehistoric people
and their relationship to the dierent ecosystems throughout the river and estuary.
TOUR FEES: Bring your own gear/kayak $20 • Gear/kayak supplied $25
Kayaks donated in part by A Crystal River Kayak Company. Only 10 rental boats available, sign up
early!
MEET: 8:30 a.m. • Crystal River Preserve State Park• 3266 North Sailboat Ave. Crystal River, FL 34428
Meet @ 8:30 a.m. in the water by 9:00 a.m. We’ll launch from the Preserve.
BRING: Sunscreen, water, picnic lunch, bug spray, sun hat, whistle, jacket
*If you rent a kayak, paddles and PFDs included; if you bring a kayak,
you must bring your paddles and PFD.
