Description: WHEN: Friday • September 26th • 2014 • 9am - 12pm
Come paddle around St. Martins Marsh with Florida Public Archaeology Network archaeologists. During our
trip on the Crystal River we’ll have a casual conversation about prehistoric people and their relationship to the
dierent ecosystems throughout the rivers and estuaries.
TOUR FEES: Bring your own gear/kayak $15 • Gear/kayak supplied $20
Kayaks donated in part by Crystal River Kayak Company. Only 10 rental boats available, sign up early!
MEET: @ 9am, in the water by 9:30am • Crystal River Preserve State Park• 13266 North Sailboat Ave.
Crystal River. 34428. We’ll launch from Preserve State Park.
BRING: Sunscreen, water, bug spray, and sun hat. In case of inclement weather, tour will be rescheduled.
*If you rent a kayak, paddles and PFDs included; if you bring a kayak, you must bring your own paddles and PFD.
