Crystal River Boat Bash

Time: 10:00 am til 4:00 pm

Location: Crystal River Preserve State Park

Description: The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Friends of Crystal River State Parks and the Crystal River Boat Builders are hosting “Crystal River Boat Bash”, a celebration of environmental exhibits, as well as small craft, nautical history and fun on the waters of the Nature Coast. This FREE event takes place opposite the Visitors Center of the Crystal River Preserve State Park and Big Bend Seagrasses/St. Martins Marsh Aquatic Preserves.

Crystal River Boat Bash activities include a display of small craft hand-made by the members of the Crystal River Boat Builders, demonstrations of various boat-building skills, and hands-on opportunities for families and kids to learn what boat building is all about. This year the Boat Bash will showcase history of the 36' sailing scow replica now under construction at the Crystal River Preserve State Park.
