Nature Coast Civil War Reenactment
Time: 10:00 am til 5:00 pm
Location: Seven Miles North of Crystal River
Description: The 2012 Nature Coast Civil War Reenactment will be held once again on the property of the Holcim Mine, 7 miles north of Crystal River (just south of the Barge Canal bridge). Education day is Friday, March 9th and reenactments are scheduled for Saturday March 10 and Sunday March 11.

Moon Over The Mounds
Time: 8:00 pm til 10:00 pm
Location: 3400 N Museum Point Crystal River, FL 34428
Description: Moon Over the Mounds
There will be a public presentation by the Crystal River Citizens Support Organization prior to the evening's events. Join us for demonstration of the Atlatl (a prehistoric weapon) on Friday, March 9th, 2012 between 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
At 8 PM Archaeologists and Park Staff present a moon-lit tour and interpretation of the famous Crystal River Archaeological Site. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Friends of Crystal River State Parks is hosting Moon Over the Mounds.
FPAN is co-hosting this event.
