Silver River Knap-In

Location: Silver River State Park Ocala, Florida
Description: Don't miss the first annual Silver River Knap-In to be held at the Silver River State Park on March 26-27, 2011. Expert flint knappers, archaeologists, potters, hide tanners, bow makers and other specialists in prehistoric skills will gather from across the eastern U.S. to demonstrate and sell their arts. Vendors will offer reproduction stone tools, unique crafts, food and more. Admission $5 per person (kids under six and U.S. Military personnel free).
